I am a cinematographer, and photographer. Everything I have learned about cinematography is thanks to the countless wonderful lighting technicians and cinematographers I have met over the years; while everything I learned about photography is thanks to the countless rolls of film, chock full of blurry film pics, and a burning desire to stop wasting money. (And before you ask, no, there was no ice cream in the tub. I am as upset as you are.)
